Pool, lagoon, trampoline: the outdoors
This is a Trinity Beach house with a pool and a backyard that both get used all day. The glass-fenced pool sits against the lagoon so swimmers get the view; the covered deck behind it holds the outdoor lounge, the hanging chair and the barbecue nook; and the fully fenced lawn runs down to the water with an in-ground trampoline, grassy mounds beside it, a rope swing rated well past the grown-ups, and room for totem tennis and lawn bocci.
The bits the kids head for first
The mud kitchen is properly plumbed, with its own running water, so the pretend cooking gets as messy as it deserves to and the clean-up is one hose away. The basketball hoop is on wheels: roll it down to the end of the cul-de-sac and the quiet street becomes a half court for the afternoon. And the grassy mounds next to the in-ground trampoline are the launch pad for everything else, from bike jumps to rolling down them until someone feels sick.

After dark
Night swims, garden lights, quiet water
The pool light is guest-controlled from the smart home portal, the festoon lights come on over the deck, and the lagoon turns into a mirror. Evenings here do not need a plan.
And the estate throws in more
Staying inside the gated estate comes with a red key that opens the lagoon walk, three resort pools including a heated main pool and a 25 metre lap pool, and the tennis court. Rackets and balls are in the house.
Next: the house runs from your phone
The pool light, the garden festoons and the sprinklers out here are all guest-controlled, along with the aircon and the lighting inside. Confirmed guests get a private portal for the length of the stay, and there is a live demo you can try right now.
