Why Trinity Beach? The Cairns northern beaches, compared
Trinity Beach sits in the middle of the Cairns northern beaches strip, about twenty minutes from Cairns Airport. It is the beach the locals pick: a palm-lined esplanade, calm swimming with a stinger net in season, restaurants and bars a short stroll from the sand, and none of the resort-strip bustle. The house is a five minute walk from all of it, tucked inside a quiet lagoon estate.

Getting here
Twenty minutes from the plane to the pool
Fly into Cairns, pick up the hire car, and you are on the deck before the kids finish arguing about the first swim. Port Douglas day trips, the Kuranda rainforest and the reef boats are all within easy reach, and our guides cover the details.
Trinity Beach or Palm Cove?
Pick Trinity Beach if
You want the same coastline with more locals and fewer tour buses, dinner options you can walk to in thongs, easier parking, and holiday-house space instead of resort rooms. Families especially: the esplanade playground and the calm water do the heavy lifting.
Pick Palm Cove if
You are after resort infrastructure: day spas, a wedding scene and a bigger strip of boutique shopping. It is a fifteen minute drive up the road, so staying here does not mean missing it; plenty of our guests do Palm Cove as an afternoon out.
Plan the days out
Our things to do guides are written by us, the hosts who live here: where to eat on the esplanade, which reef trips suit kids, and how to do Kuranda without the queues. When you are ready, request your dates.
